This is a 6-day/5-night Kenyan safari itinerary covering Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, and the Masai Mara. It includes thrilling game drives in Amboseli (known for elephants and Kilimanjaro views) and the Masai Mara (famous for diverse wildlife and potential Great Migration sightings).

Itinerary
Drive to Amboseli National Park.
Depart Nairobi in the morning with a drive to Amboseli National Park which lies on the border of Tanzania. On the way you will pass by a number of small towns with multiple fruit and vegetable vendors selling their wares. As you turn off the main road keep an eye out for your first glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro which can be seen from several miles away on a clear day. Arrive in time for lunch.
Later enjoy an evening game drive in the park returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Today explore Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.

Drive to Lake Naivasha
Today drive down the Great Rift Valley Escarpment to the lakeside town of Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Your lunch will be served here.Afternoon at leisure or choose an optional visit to Lake Naivasha Boat ride and Crescent Island visit (available at an extra cost).
Lake Naivasha is one of Africa’s most renowned freshwater lakes and a boat safari ride here allows you to spot Hippo and numerous Bird species including Kingfisher, Fish Eagle, Herons, Jacanas and more.
The lake itself is remarkably picturesque, set against a purple backdrop of the Eburru volcanic mountain range and lined by thick yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea trees. In terms of wildlife the lake is home to over a thousand protected Hippo and the shores of the lake also host small numbers of Giraffe, Zebra, Waterbuck and the odd eland and wildebeest.
A Lake Naivasha Boat ride is therefore an exciting yet relaxing lake safari experience with plenty of interesting sights to enjoy.The boat ride is provided by an experienced local boating guide and the boats range from 6 person to 20 person capacities though the most typical choice for added manoeuvrability are the 6-to-12-seater boats. Life jackets are provided.
The usual timings for the one-hour lake safari are 7am to 11am and 2 pm to 4pm. The lake is known to get rough late afternoon to evening and these boat rides currently are avoided.

Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve.
Today drive to the Masai Mara - the best known of Kenya's parks. The drive is superbly scenic and on the way you will pass open expanses, new engineering marvels such as the Standard Gauge Railway and small towns with people peddling their wears. Full day in the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Today explore full day with morning and afternoon game drives in the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife crown. The reserve features wide open grassland, gently rolling hills and is bisected by numerous rivers. The diversity, and density, of the wildlife is second to none.
