Itinerary
Morning
(8:00 AM - 12:00 PM):8:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel or designated meeting point in Nairobi.
8:30 AM: Arrive at the Oloolua Forest entrance. Begin your guided nature walk through the forest. Our guide will share information about the forest's history, flora, and fauna, including its role during Kenya's independence struggle.
9:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Continue exploring the forest trails, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and spotting various bird species and small wildlife.
11:00 AM: Reach the designated clearing where the storytelling experience takes place. Enjoy the traditional drumming, singing, and captivating tales from a local storyteller.
Lunch (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM):Enjoy a pre-arranged dining experience at a nearby restaurant outside the forest, depending on your preference.
Afternoon
(1:00 PM - 5:00 PM):1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Shopping - Depending on interests, this could include visits to local craft markets (e.g., Maasai Market), curio shops, or even a shopping mall for a wider selection of goods. Discuss options with your tour guide/driver.
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Depending on time and interest, an optional brief stop at a nearby attraction could be included. Examples include the Karen Blixen Museum (if you haven't already visited it) or the Giraffe Centre (this would require adjusting timings). This would likely incur extra entry fees.
